The shooting guard position is also known as the two or off guard and is one of five traditional positions on a basketball team Players of the position are often shorter, leaner, and quicker than forwards. A shooting guard's main objective is to score points for his team. When it comes to shooting guard there's a very popular name in basketball and every one knows he's the greatest player in NBA history, Michael Jordan came into the league and dominated his spot and the NBA like no other player has ever done.
