Although new WBC middleweight champion, Miguel Cotto, is enjoying a well deserved rest, there are already several names on the deck that are sailing towards him Puerto Rican bound. Marco Antonio "Veneno" Rubio is one of the possible opponents. He's the Interim champion in the very division where Cotto reigns. The name of Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, has also been mentioned and Cotto comments Cotto that this is a real option. One for Golden Boy Promotions and Top Rank to ponder. Another name mentioned is former WBC middleweight champion, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., who insists he would be willing to go down to 160 pounds again to face the Puerto Rican. Former welterweight champion, Timothy Bradley, is another option thas has been mentioned, although the weight difference could be an impediment. Then there's Gennady Golovkin, who'll be fighting against Daniel Geale on Saturday.
