Fiba Asia Cup 2014: Gilas Pilipinas wins Bronze against China by Paul Lee's Endgame Heroics



The Gilas Philippines team has failed to make it to the final after losing to Iran again, so they’ll face China in the third place match. Paul Lee turned defeat into victory as the Rain or Shine stalwart worked on a brilliant play in the dying seconds and, with three charities with no time left, lifted Gilas Pilipinas past China, 80-79, in a duel for third place in the fifth FIBA Asia Cup in Wuhan, China Saturday night. De Ocampo led Gilas with 18 points, while Tenorio chipped in 12. Naturalized center Marcus Douthit held the fort against China's taller frontline, grabbing 22 rebounds alongside 10 points.
